Getting Started in CC CityRP
Welcome to Chill Community's CityRP. This guide will help you learn the ropes and familiarize yourself with how roleplay is handled on this server. You can find the rules below.
Jobs
Upon joining the server, you may have noticed a lack of jobs. This is because roleplay freedom is handed to citizens, without having to worry to be a thief job to raid, or a drug dealer to make meth. All your tools can be purchased from NPCs placed around the map. To find these NPCs, you can use the command "!map" to open an image marking the locations of notable locations and NPCs. In order to join the police force, you must have a minimum of 2 hours on our server and pass a quiz ensuring you understand how to play as a police officer.

In EvoCity, there are many activities to participate in. Some activities you can partake in include, but are not limited to:
- Garbage Collection
- Towing Vehicles
- Running a small business
- Making Drugs
- Buying and Selling illegal guns
- Anything you can think of
Vehicles
There's a wide variety of car dealerships around the map. Every car has a unique license plate. There is also a wide variety of police, EMS, and fire department vehicles. Remember to abide by traffic laws, or you might be pulled over.
Law and Government
On our server, we operate under the New York State penal code. Citizens are expected to abide by this system of law. When becoming a police officer, it is recommended that the player have a moderate understanding of police work and operation. The Mayor has little control over pre-existing law, but serves as an overseer to all government operations in the city. The Mayor is guarded by secret service. He can perform speeches and organize events.
Firearms
Under the New York State penal code, open carry is illegal, so don't be confused if you're arrested or shot for brandishing a gun. Guns can be either purchased from illegal dealers, or legal dealers. When purchasing from a legal dealer, ensure that you also purchase a gun license from them.
Emergency Services
Need to report a fire, injured person, or crime? Use the "!services" command to call EMS, the fire department, or police to your location. On the server, fires can happen at random intervals in set locations around the map, so be careful!

Rules and Regulations
In following rules, these terms will be defined as:
RDM: Killing/Attacking a player without proper roleplay justification
RDA: Arresting a player without proper roleplay justification.
NLR: New Life Rule; when a player dies, they can not initiate previous roleplay scenarios or remember information from their past life.
Players can be punished if their actions fall into any of the categories below. Staff choose their punishments, there are no guidelines for ban lengths, etc.
RDM
On CC, RDM rules are fairly lenient. If a player is harassing or interacting with another player, you could be shot. As with real life, people can be killed for these reasons. And although with server rules this is the case, police will always have the right to arrest you or do anything else such as drawing their own firearm.
RDA
As with RDM, RDA rules are fairly lenient, as well. In real life, people can be arrested unfairly or accidentally arrested.
Staff can interfere with RDM/RDA if it occurs on a large scale or is completely random, meaning an officer walked up to you with RDA in mind.
NLR
When killed, players may not return to their location of death for 3 minutes. NLR is defined above for reference.
Minging/Trolling
When minging/trolling, players show a clear intent to disrupt or interfere with normal roleplay. Usually, minges/trolls will commonly FailRP or Metagame. If a staff member has reasonable suspicion of a player being a minge/troll, they can be banned.
FailRP/Metagaming
FailRP is when players fail to react accordingly to a roleplay situation in the same manner they would in real life. Metagaming is when players use information obtained out of roleplay in a roleplay scenario.
PropMinge/PropSpam
Not placing/interacting with props in a realistic manner can be considered prop minge. For example, a player cannot stand on top of a floating soda can. PropSpam is when players create a large amount of props in a short period of time, usually with the intention of lagging/crashing the server.
Exploiting/Hacking
When players use third party software or exploit an in game feature for an advantage, it falls under this category and can be considered a serious offense
These rules can be expanded upon at any time, these rules provide a general overview of how players should act on the server. Administrators can expand these rules as needed when handling a sit.
Keep in mind this isn't serious RP either. Feel free to screw around still! :)
